70 degrees!?

Today it's going to be in the 70's! I'm SO excited :)  Something else I'm so excited about? Step in 20 and most importantly, PASSOVER is coming up soon! Passover is a Jewish holiday where some religious stuff goes down (no eating Leavened Bread, etc.) and yummy food is consumed.  By yummy I am not, by any means, referring to Matzot.  Ewwww.  I've hated this stuff since I was old enough to chew (which I'm proud to say I did at a VERY early age, hehe).  But I looove making fabulous recipes into Pasach friendly treats!

This year I am making the desserts, that is, two of the probably 5 or 6 desserts that will be at the house! Insanity... I know. Haha, I'm SO excited though :)
I really want to tell you ladies what I am making, but I also want it to be a surprise!  I'll give you one hint: The two recipes are from Cooking Light, although I will be making some variations to make them more accessible for everyone's dietary needs (I'm lactose intolerant, as prev. stated)... In other words, I'm selfish and want to be able to eat them too! Haha

Okay, sorry this post sucked and was super short, but I just wanted to say HI and I'm so excited for my Passover treats! Happy Thursday!  Friday is only one day away =)

70°F?? Enjoy it immensely for me, please - it's only 38°F here :0(

I'm lactose-intolerant too - so great that you found dessert recipes that will please everyone for Passover!!

By the way, there's a great chocolate-toffee matzah recipe in 'My Sweet Vegan,' that I'm going to try soon - I'll let you know how that dessert is!! :0)

I'm SO excited for Passover too! It's by far my favorite holiday. Most of my friends dread it because they think that their choices are so limited for the week, but I'm glad that like me, you really appreciate all the GOOD food that comes with the holiday. And what makes this year even better, is that it's the first time in 3 years I'll be home celebrating with my family instead of staying at school : ) I CANT WAIT!

I'm 5'5... but I can wear tall shoes!!!

You're so sweet to make food for your whole family for Passover. Haha, I actually used to really like matzahball soup, but haven't had it in years! But I've never been a fan of regular matzah either.

Chocolate: Is your first name Katie? Haha, I sort of remember that being it, but I realized I actually don't know! And you're my TWIN! Hmm... That's strange! Anyways, I adore Matzo Ball Soup... My Grammy's of course! I should ask her for her recipe so I can post it! Oh, crap. I just realized it's totally UNVEGAN, but you could make it Vegan no problemo! And I'm sure you'd do a fabulous job!

Linds: I have enjoyed this warm weather oh so very much! LOVE it! I can't wait to post about the desserts too! Hehe. I didn't get around to making them today, but I can't wait to do it this weekend! Maybe tomorrow =)

Cara: Oh, don't you worry! There will be MANY pictures =) Of my failures and successes because I will need all of your help on these! Hope you enjoy your Friday Night!
